Discover Our Farmhouse in a Privileged Natural Setting, Where Serenity and Nature Merge to Offer You an Unforgettable Stay.
Discover Beuda
You have to imagine our town as a great forest dotted with fields and pastures, where cows, donkeys and some fallow deer calmly eat ... and in the middle, from time to time, a house stands out on a hill, at the bottom of a valley or on a small landing.
To give you an idea we have approximately the surface of Sabadell but we do not reach 200 inhabitants. And we are not all together in a nucleus, no, we are all scattered throughout the territory merging with the nature that surrounds us.
Just out the door you can already enjoy the generous nature: picking asparagus in spring, blackberries and figs in summer, mushrooms in autumn ... following the paths that lead from the house itself, entering the soft forests of our environment.
It was a challenge for our city council to find a way to publicize our rich and varied architectural heritage. The idea of the "traveling backpack" arose, a self-guide that you can reel at your own pace and that will take you to various Romanesque churches and old castles. With good organization you can even get the keys to the old parishes and admire the wonders that we hide behind their thick walls.
And of course merge with the natural heritage, walking along old trails or climbing one of the peaks that we, the Beudanencs, like so much, from where you will enjoy spectacular views.
Discover Garrotxa
We are located in one of the best known shires of Catalonia, both for the magnificent medieval villages and for the explosive nature.
The medieval town of Besalú, one of the most beautiful in Catalonia, with its emblematic bridge, is an essential visit. It is also worth getting to Santa Pau, nestled within the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park. And many others such as the towns of the Vall d'en Bas or Beget, which is already the Ripollès.
A few kilometers away, there is also the imposing Castellfollit de la Roca cliff with the houses hanging high up, following the cliff.
But what this region is perhaps best known for is the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone and La Fageda d'En Jordà. At any time of the year, it offers the visitor a majestic and, I would say, even magical aspect.
For the creatures
Since we started offering rural accommodation, it was a challenge for us to give a good welcome to the creatures. That is why we ensure that our houses are practical, safe and well equipped. And we also offer a large garden, with plenty of space to run and play, a playground and sports equipment. The pool is completely surrounded by a security fence.
In our immediate surroundings you can do small excursions with children, both to Beuda, Besalú and in other towns of La Garrotxa, where marked itineraries have been prepared. A short distance away we also have the Banyoles lake, another wonderful natural area and well prepared for walking and enjoying nature.
